At Emmanuel, we have a range of social and fellowship activities for all the family, which are open to all.
Little Wrens: Carers and Toddler Group
Term Time on Mondays & Fridays 10:00am-11:30am.
We are a small friendly group for under fives. We are open to all. Join us for stories, songs, crafts & playtime! We request a donation of £2.00 per family. Booking is essential as spaces are limited.

Our services are open to all, however younger families may find the first Sunday of the month more appealing with our All Age Service. The sanctuary includes a creche where you can also view and hear the service.
On the third Sunday of each month, children can attend Kids @ Emmanuel while the grown ups worship in the sanctuary. During their time, there will be opportunity through craft, games and stories to learn more about Jesus, and make new friends. The club is open to children up to the age of 13, and is run by a group of helpers who have all received a clear DBS Disclosure check.

Messy Church

Church with a café style environment.
Particularly suitable for children, but fun for people of ALL ages. Explore your faith by getting creative. With crafts, games, stories, songs & food.
Messy Church meet once a term, usually in the school holidays. There is no charge for these sessions and no need to book. Keep an eye out on our online diary or Facebook page for future dates which are usually published 3-4 weeks in advance.

Kids Cafe
Term time, on last Friday of each month 3:30pm-5:00pm.
A family friendly afternoon offering a variety of themes, such as games, music, crafts and more. Lots of fun to be had by all with refreshments provided too.

Jenny Wren Nursery School
Jenny Wren is a small nursery school owned by Emmanuel Church.
The joint managers are Isobel Rouse and Katy Elliott who have responsibility for the day to day care of the children, as required by Ofsted. Our staff are either NVQ3 or qualified teachers.
We are open to all 3 and 4 year olds; we welcome children from all ethnic backgrounds, as well as those with special needs.
Our aim is to give each child a secure and happy start to their education by providing a caring environment for them to play and learn in, and one in which they can build caring and responsible relationships.
We are open Monday to Friday, during school term times.

Funded Session 9:00 – 2:00 pm
We were rated “Good Early Years provider” by Ofsted in 2022. The nursery also maintains a “Very Good” FSA Food Hygiene Rating.
