At the Morning Worship on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024, our Bible lesson focused on The Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:1-17). The importance of having laws to prevent chaos and guide our lives was emphasised. During the service, we were encouraged to contemplate a modern commandment, and to write an ‘eleventh ‘ on stone tablets.
Rev. Paul highlighted that the key isn’t merely following the commandments for satisfaction but to lead a life of love and kindness, mirroring Jesus Christ’s example. By doing so, we can foster deep connections within our community and align ourselves with God’s intentions. When we prioritise these values, the laws we uphold will naturally be fulfilled, fostering a world brimming with love and peace.
