An Easter Revolution

At the start of Holy Week, Emmanuel Church hosted an inspiring concert to see the launch of Garth Hewitt’s latest album ‘Easter Revolution’. Garth challenged us with his songs, prayers, stories and reflections, all written through various levels of lockdown, with many birthed from his personal experiences in Israel and Palestine. There was a powerful message woven through – When surrounded by many troubles, we can find a sure and steadfast hope, this ‘Easter Revolution’ is not just a springtime festival, it is a lifelong commitment to follow Jesus Christ, to pursue peace, love one another and embrace justice for all. Proceeds from the concert went to the Garth Hewitt Foundation and the Emmanuel Church Building Fund.
